Oriana isn’t thin like this. She’s actually a tall girl, and on the zaftig side. I like the pic best for the girl’s large, dark eyes. And her slightly hunted look.

Oriana Paredes is a sereia (Portuguese for siren). In “Of Ambergris, Blood, and Brandy” everything she knows is coming apart. She’s in hiding in a city where capture would mean death while trying to find a killer before he can kill again. Originally sent there to spy on the human government, she’s worked as a dressmaker and then as a lady’s companion because a servant usually slips under the radar.

But it turns out that someone has been watching her for some time…
